Year 6 Junior Citizen trip
This morning, Year 6 visited Chessington World of Adventures to participate in a citizenship workshop led by the Metropolitan Police, the London Fire Brigade and Transport for London. There were several different scenarios which the children were exposed to including staying safe on the buses and tubes, being aware of stolen goods and stranger danger. They even learnt about protecting wildlife and what to do in emergencies!
“We participated in many different activities that helped us know how to deal with situations that involve animals, strangers and what is considered safe situations. I learnt many new interesting facts like that a train weighs 200 tonnes!” Alexandra Janda
