Welcome to Year 6 Louis Sachar Class!
Google Classrooms for Lockdown:
For the duration of lockdown, Year 6 will be learning virtually via Google Classrooms. Your children all have logged in to GC previously and have their log in information to access class from home.
The morning sessions will consist of live lessons for maths and English. The afternoon lessons will consist of work posted onto the year 6 GC page at the start of the day. A daily timetable can be found for each day for reference.
Below is the meeting link for the live morning sessions:

Welcome back to our last year of Year 6! Mrs Croucher and I are delighted to be back in school with the children for a very busy, but enjoyable, final year with you in St Joseph's. I will be putting as much information as I possibly can on the class page throughout the year for you to use.
If you have any questions or queries, please do not hesitate to email the school office at office@stjosephs.rbksch.org or the class email page on year6@stjosephs.rbksch.org and we will be happy to help. For health and safety reasons, we are unable to engage in face to face meetings/contact on the play ground before or after school. We appreciate your understanding and help during this difficult time. All of the relevant information for PE and our termly timetables can be found below.

Reading Books
All children have a reading book and reading record diary that they are encouraged to bring home and share with parents/carers. When they have finished reading their book, children are able to change them when they arrive at school each morning.
Please sign your name and write any comments each time you listen to your child read, and also when they have completed their book.
Children in Yr 6 are expected to read at least 15mins daily, at least a chapter (or 10 pages) per evening.
PE Days
We have PE on Monday morning and Thursday afternoon.
Due to Covid19, children are required to wear their PE kit to and from school and are not advised to change in school. Please ensure children have their full kits on these days.
No jewellery is permitted. Click on the link below to find out more information about our uniform.
