Our chapel was built in the summer of 2014, making a wonderful addition to St Joseph's as a place of worship. It has been used to celebrate class masses, to pray together, for the stations of the cross, and as a space for the chaplaincy team to lead the lunchtime chapel club three times a week.
Of course, children can go to the chapel during lunchtimes every day to pray if they wish.
The C.A.T. team introduced the stations of the cross art competition in collective worship. Each class was assigned a station of the cross to design and teachers chose the winner from each class. They are now hanging in our chapel for all to see and they look absolutely beautiful! During Lent, we pray the stations of the cross weekly.
