After nearly 3 years of not having the prestigious Hogsmill trophy, this years Y5 & 6 football team managed to make history by lifting the trophy yesterday in emphatic style. On a fine summers afternoon Mr Ford & Mr Bawn overlooked a sensational performance from the team, a performance that showed everything we had been working on throughout the year. The passing & movement was a joy to behold and the 1st half scoreline reflected St Joseph's domination. The 2nd half was slighlty tighter with King Athelstan growing into the game and creating a few chances. St Joseph's finished winning 9-1 to the delight of the onlooking teachers and children. The boys most of who are Y6 and now leaving the school have done themselves proud and have brought the trophy home. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the boys football team this season for their hard work and commitment.
