Kingston Active School of the Year 2016-17
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Sports Award is the highest accolade that can be awarded by the borough to schools in recognition of their sporting achievements and services to sport. St Josephs was chosen at an awards ceremony in the Guildhall in November for “showing exceptional effort in promoting healthy, active lifestyles” and was praised for “focusing on different aspects of health, including emotional, mental, physical and nutritional”.

Gold Sports Award
The Sainsbury's School Games Mark is a Government led awards scheme which reward schools for their commitment to the development of PE, sport and competition across their school. We have achieved Gold in 2015-16 and 2016-17!
Primary Science Quality Mark
Primary Science Quality Awards are awarded to schools to celebrate a commitment to excellence in science teaching and learning. The Primary School Quality Mark scheme enables schools to work together to share good practice and is supported by professional development led by local experts. I

This is awarded to schools to recognise their achievements in supporting the health and wellbeing of their pupils.
International School Award
This is in recognition of our commitment to extending and embedding international-mindedness throughout our school curriculum.
Quality Mark is an award that celebrates and supports continuous improvement in literacy and numeracy.
