During this challenging time, we wanted to provide you with details of websites that can be accessed at home to support children’s learning and development specifically for the early years. Please find a list of suggested websites below. We hope you find this information useful and enjoy using these sites to enhance your child’s learning experiences at home!


Please do remember to review the sites ahead of time so that you are able to help your children find the best resources available within the sites. Some offer a great number of games, songs, stories, videos etc. so it is important to know the site well in order to support and develop your child’s learning.

Excellent site built around the 7 areas of learning in the Early Years Foundation Stage. You can access a free 7 day trial but you need to subscribe after this period to access the content – various subscription packages available.

We love to read!

We have been building with different shapes and sizes, inside and out. We created boats, cars,'disco rooms' ("Cover your ears") and rockets that zoom to the moon!

We love learning while we are playing, we have been having fun discovering shapes and measure in a lot of different ways.

We have been growing our friendships and physical skills by climbing, running, jumping, cutting and chalking outside. In our quiet moments we enjoy reading our books.

We have been celebrating Harvest by bringing in donations and printing pictures with vegetables.

Our first weeks have been full of different experiences. It has been fun!
