We did not let the current circumstances stop us from enjoying a fantastic Sports Day week well done to everyone who took part both in school and virtually at home. It was fantastic to see so many of you sending in your videos and scoring some vital points for your house. The week started off on Monday with every class taking part in 20 metre socially distant sprints to see how many laps they could get in 1 minute. Tuesday saw the children working on their co-ordination skills with the activity wall catch. On Wednesday children took part in their own class sprint races to see who would get 1st, 2nd 3rd for their house. On Thursday the next event that took place was the long jump with children trying to see how many points they could get in 1 minute with higher points for jumps that where longer. The week then finished off on Friday with the speed bounce challenge with children competing to get as many bounces as they could in 1 minute.
