The structure of St. Joseph's Governing Body is:

School governors have a wide range of responsibilities. They help to raise the standards of pupil achievement and plan the school's future direction. Governors are also accountable for the performance of the school to parents and the wider community. At St. Joseph's the Governing Body takes an active role and visits the school regularly.
I was appointed Foundation Governor in June 2014 for a 4 year term by the Catholic Diocese of Southwark. I have one child at St Josephs. I have been a governor for nearly three years and Chair of Governors for the same amount of time. St Josephs is a fabulous school with so much potential and I feel privileged to help the school go from strength to strength, both as a parent and a governor. I work as a Chartered Legal Executive in the Private Client department of a local firm of solicitors in Kingston.
I joined the Governing Body as an Ex-Officio in September 2016 when I began my role as Acting Headteacher. I attend all committee and full governing body meetings as part of my role as Acting Headteacher.
I have worked at St Josephs as a Teaching Assistant for over 15 years and hold the Higher Level Teaching Assistant status. I was elected as Support Staff Governor in December 2013 and became a Co-Opted Governor in October 2014 for a 4 year term, after the reconstitution of the Governing Body.
I was appointed Foundation Governor in July 2015 for a 4 year term by the Catholic Diocese of Southwark and I support the Catholic ethos of the school and provide governance. I sit on the Resources Committee. My career is in Business Restructuring with the financial services firm Deloitte, and I am a Fellow of the ICAEW. I spend all the spare time I can with my family, friends and my dog Ruby.
I was appointed Foundation Governor in January 2016 for a 4 year term by the Catholic Diocese of Southwark. I sit on the Curriculum and Achievement Committee, also the Children, Families and Community Committee, along with the Discipline Committee. I am a business consultant and trainer.
I was elected as Staff Governor in May 2015 for a 4 year term. I am proud to have taught at St Josephs for 10 years and I am the Nursery teacher and EYFS leader. I am Chair of the Curriculum and Achievement Committee.
I was appointed Foundation Governor in April 2014 for a 4 year term, by the Catholic Diocese of Southwark. I am a governor on the Resources committee. I am retired and enjoy looking after my grandchildren, singing and boating.
I was originally appointed Foundation Governor in May 2012 for a 4 year term, by the Catholic Diocese of Southwark. In May 2016 I was reappointed for a further 4 year term. I am a member of the Children, Families and Community Committee. I have first hand experience of dyslexia and delayed speech linked to Down’s Syndrome. Also, I am a trained Bereavement Counsellor.
I was elected as Parent Governor in October 2014 for a 4 year term. I am a trained Nursery Nurse and have two children that attend St. Joseph's. I sit on the Children, Families and Community Committee and I am also a member of the PTFA.
I was elected as Parent Governor in October 2014 for a 4 year term. I have a son at St Joseph's. I am the Vice Chair of Governors and also a member of the Curriculum and Achievement Committee. I am currently working as an Assistant Head Teacher in charge of curriculum at Brentford School for Girls.
I have been Clerk to the Governors since Autumn 2010. My duties include: convening meetings of the Governing Body and committees, taking minutes, helping to recruit new governors and keeping governors informed of changes in legislation relating to their role.
